Heim Joint Safety Washer Prevents 5/8 Inch Allen Or Twelve Point Bolt From Pulling Through The Heim
Safety washers were designed to prevent the rod end from going over a twelve point or allen bolt head if the heim joint fails. There is a slight tapered profile that will allow the heim joint to rotate without hitting the edge of the safety washer.
